Why Publish Real-Time Passenger Information?
Passenger information has become central to transport operations for one simple reason: traveller satisfaction. Real-time data lets passengers plan confidently, track their bus live, receive disruption alerts and adapt when delays occur.
- Reduces uncertainty at the stop — the main driver of dissatisfaction
- Builds trust and loyalty towards the network
- Required by law in France (LOM 2019) and increasingly expected across Europe

Pysae Passenger App
Pysae offers a white-label passenger information app available on Android and iOS. Passengers track their bus in real time, see live waiting times at stops, and receive push notifications when disruptions affect their line.
- Live bus geolocation, updated every 5 seconds
- Real-time waiting times at every stop
- Push notifications for service disruptions
- Multilingual: English, French, and more

How Pysae Produces Real-Time Data
Pysae collects data from three sources — theoretical timetable data, GPS data from the onboard driver app, and manual traffic information entered by operators — to produce a fully compliant GTFS-RT feed refreshed every 5 seconds.
- Step 1: Collect theoretical and real-time data from vehicles
- Step 2: Generate GTFS-RT feed via API (trip updates, positions, alerts)
- Step 3: Publish to the passenger app and any connected platform
